Sophie is a freelance producer and post-producer based in London with almost a decade of experience working on short-form narrative, commercial and social campaigns and music videos. Having studied at Ravensbourne and NFTS she has worked both in a freelance capacity and in-house with companies including Vice, i-D and The Hook.

 

Her commercial work has won a variety of awards including Best Use of Social Media at the Drum Awards and Best Brand Documentary at the Brand Film Festival. Brands Sophie has worked with include: Coca-Cola, Nike, Johnnie Walker, Lionsgate and Currys PC World.

 

Sophie is a frequent collaborator with Academy Award® winning Slick Films, producing short films, music videos and commercial content. Most recently finalising post-production on A Matter of Minutes and What We Wished We Could Be, two narrative shorts, as lead producer.

 

Her first short, directed by two-time BAFTA-nominated director Ben Mallaby, premiered at the Cannes Short Film Corner and won the Audience Award at the European Independent Film Festival. To date, Sophie has produced 18 narrative short films, with a further four in pre-production. 

 

In 2023 she became a BAFTA Connect member, with several long-form projects currently in development. Love to collaborate so get in touch!
